|This was sort of a "quickie". I started at 3:30 PM and got back to the car at 7:30 PM. I just hiked out without taking a lot of
right on the edge!). I wanted to get a biright on the edge!). I wanted to get a bi of a different angle and just see how things

there a month ago. Green line out (2.0 mi, 1.5 hr), magenta line back (2.0 mi, 1 hr 20 min). The image on the right has
the most recent overlay that shows the lava flows.

It's a little tricky shooting into the sun...
Well this is interesting....
the lava. The wind blows and the steam dances and you press the
button. My camera responds pretty well, no delay, but it's hit or miss Boy
do I love digital!
I know these pictures look sorta boring and repetitive on the page but
they were selected for a reason: maybe the water looked particularly
interesting, or maybe it was just a masterful piece of photography!
